Teams and private titles
Collaborating on a title
Invite people to a whole title as owner, admin, editor or viewer.
How access works
Access is granted per title and covers the complete title — every issue in it, including drafts and scheduled editions. Someone can be an editor on one title and a viewer on another.
- Owner: everything, including billing, members-only publishing and deleting the title.
- Admin: manage issues, title settings, the team and statistics — not billing or deletion.
- Editor: add, edit, reorder and delete issues, update title details, view statistics.
- Viewer: read the title's issues and statistics, with no editing controls.
Inviting people
- Open Collaborate in the Studio.
- Choose the titles to grant access to, the role, and the email addresses to invite.
- Send — each person receives a branded invitation that is valid for seven days.
The Collaborate page also shows who has access to what, pending invitations you can withdraw, and how many of your plan's seats are in use. Seats rise with your plan.
Accepting an invitation
An invited person follows the link, signs in or creates a free account, and lands straight on the shared title. They do not need a creator plan or creator onboarding — shared titles appear in their Studio under Shared with me.
Common questions
- Can I invite someone who only has a reading account?
- Yes. Accepting an invitation gives them the tools for that title only, with no plan required.
- How do I remove someone?
- Open Collaborate, find them in the people list and remove their access. It takes effect immediately.
